friday end of the week day

well its finally Friday.  just two more weeks until vacation.  then just two weeks at the shore and my lazy life comes to a screeching halt!  miss Emmerson Shaw Henry starts coming to Grammy on Monday august 30!  i can't wait.  this is what i am on earth for.  i believe that completely.  6 yrs ago, i dropped dead in my kitchen, but miracle of miracles i am alive and able to babysit my granddaughter.  i thank god for giving me a chance to be a part of their lives.  just about every thing i have pushed myself to do during those 6 yrs has brought me to this juncture.  "if god brings you to it, he will bring you through it"  well, if there is any question as to whether or not i am able to care for an infant all day long, i point to the heavens.  god didn't allow me to live only to have to sit and watch some stranger take care of Emme.  i believe it is his will for me to do this.  i have prepared myself as best i could to be strong enough to do this.  all that remains is as Nike says to "Just do it"  so i will beginning August 30.  praise the lord!
